Paperback Publication Day! Book Tour (part 2)! Virtual Events with Emily Giffin and Julia Quinn!
I may be a little excited about all of this...!
Hope you’ve all been well! I’ve been hard at work on book #2, while also putting together some exciting events to promote the paperback launch of It’s Not Hysteria! If you’ve been waiting for INH to come out in paperback (less pricey than hardcover, lighter, easier to take with you on summer travels, it’s available NOW!
Please order from your favorite independent bookstore - reader requests show booksellers that there’s interest in a book, which is so important for books about reproductive / sexual health, that don’t often get placement on bookstore displays, especially in big box stores like Target. Sigh. Plus, it’s just important to support our local small businesses! If you don’t have a favorite indie, links to order from all the major retailers is here, including Bookshop.org, which has FREE SHIPPING through July 11, and proceeds support indie bookstores!
VIRTUAL (IG LIVE)
This is *ridiculously exciting* - I'm going to be in conversation on Instagram Live with two of my favorite authors of all time: Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed, the Summer Pact) and Julia Quinn (the Bridgerton series)! Pinch me! Follow me on IG if you haven’t already to see when I go Live, and set your calendar reminders!

Beyond being some of the most popular authors on the planet, Emily and Julia have also used their platforms to speak out about important current events and health issues. I semi-joked that this are my conversations with “Famous Romance Authors Who Want to Make the World a Better Place.” Join us Live, and I’ll also share the videos on my feed afterwards!
* TOMORROW, WED July 9 - 6p EST, Emily Giffin
* MON July 14 - 8p EST / 5p PST, Julia Quinn

Finally, on a serious note, my heart is heavy for the victims of the catastrophic flooding in Texas. As a parent, I cannot imagine what those families are going through. It feels like there’s truly one overwhelming tragedy after another. No one deserves to suffer such a tragedy. It highlights the importance of providing sufficient funding and resources for emergency preparedness, research into climate change, systems such as the National Weather Service, and how voting can a matter of life and death when science and public services are on the line. The same is true for gun violence, vaccines, reproductive rights - all of these are public health issues, and we need to continue to speak out and advocate to protect ourselves and our children.
To support relief efforts, here are links to the World Central Kitchen and Salvation Army which are providing food and resources in Texas:
Congratulations! 😊
